Allan, that sounds interesting. Have not bought T+S for some months, last issue I got was actually very good, back in February. I will nip out and get this one you mention tomorrow (if I remember). Have to say though that I am getting a bit jaded as far as the mags go in general, I find there is more useful info available online in forums and web sites like this one (both directly and as a result of new acquaintances struck-up on them). Don?t know if I will renew my subscription to any of them as I do not feel they are offering me much at the moment. But that?s just me, others will no doubt differ. :)

It?s worth buying just for that re-print. Boy that brings back memories. Evidently TS mag did not change much from that first issue through to the mid ?60s The format and even some of the contributors were instantly recognisable to me Tom Stewart on loch Leven! He was the man of his day.
