was out driving with swmbo yesterday (it being her birthday)and we decided to divert from pitlochry via blairgowrie. you can imagine my delight (and hers ) when we found this http://www.riverthoughtfulfishingbooks.co.uk/Home.html charming little shop at bridge of cally! i managed to avoid extending my overdraft into the stratosphere and ended up clutching a rather nice copy of charles rangeley wilson's "somewhere else" for a tenner.

andrew (the owner) is a lovely bloke (reminded me of chris yates) and his small shop is a treasure trove. i'd say his prices are fair (i reckon a mint signed first ed of "carp fever" is probably worth ?140 in the right circles. not to me though ) and the quality of all his books is very high.

somewhere special to break up a long drive north or south, especially if you're spending a while in deeside.
