Hi folks,
My Dad has two pairs of mating Reed Buntings in his Garden this year, he has lived at this house for 20 years and is a very keen bird watcher and this is the first time has seen one in the Garden let alone 4!.
This is in Surburban Edinburgh so not exactly country side and there are no reeds to be seen :D
Probably attracted to the feeders during the cold winter and have now decided to stay !
Not a great shot but was on full zoom with my point & shoot & nae tripod !
