Aye, that new Android tablet looks interesting and does more too. It might be easier to add books directly via the USB. I am going to get something anyway. I can't stand reading books on the computer sitting at a desk and there is a wealth of good stuff out there to be had for free.

Some books;

The above are all free and legal!

These may not be, download at your own discretion;

The best client at the moment is this;
http://www.utorrent.com/

There are now thousands of book sites, you can basically find more or less anything you need or want. Of course some things are simply not available as e-books yet.

Also of interest in this regard;

The best reader I have found is this; ( Although the built-in calibre reader is not bad).

http://www.mobipocket.com/en/DownloadSoft/default.asp?Language=EN

For the PC;

Site;

For .lit formats, either convert if possible, or use the free Microsoft reader. Has its limits, but it works;

If you are interested, have the space, and can use them, I have 35 GB of books on various subjects, general interest, survival, nature, etc. about 11 GB on fishing, ( Mainly fly-fishing). If you want I can FTP them to your server.  Might take a while though! :)

I don't think my Aberdeenshire sheep driven broadband will cope with Mike.   :lol:

I can limit the speed, but of course it will then take longer!  Up to you.

The problem with these multi purpose jobs is the battery life - Kindle is about 800-1000 mins and these are about 140-200mins. It would run out of battery half way through a flight!
