I know it makes me feel like a luddite ....... but just the thought of using a Kindle depresses me 

........ and I would never trust myself in the Bath with £89 worth of technology

Pages dry, but Kindles die 

i agree completely. but i was more than a little upset when i knocked a glass of fine ale over my medlar press copy of "the complete book of the roach". the pages are now dry, but a rather fetching shade of brown. and wrinkled.  :x
