The price difference is because in UK you get to read a book without commercial breaks!

Honest. The US model is cheap because they sell advertising space in the books.

I would rather pay the extra.

i agree completely. but i was more than a little upset when i knocked a glass of fine ale over my medlar press copy of "the complete book of the roach". the pages are now dry, but a rather fetching shade of brown. and wrinkled.  :x
