Out for a walk last night and photographed this "white fisherman" on the shoreline at Aberlady. I guess they are gradually coming north seeing they are established on the south coast. Not sure if they like to remain coastal or if we could see them one day on our lochs?

Saw one at the curly(curling pond) in montrose a couple of years ago. Had to check what I was drinking but it was irn-bru
For those who might be interested,Egrets are back in Scotland, one sighted at Montrose basin recently.
I saw about 15 yesterday at the side of the road. At least they were very similar looking. I was being driven down the main highway to KB in the south of Brunei.
35 degrees and rising!
Probably Cattle Egret that have a flash of yellow on the back of their necks, not normally seen in europe.
Two for the specialists then.
Sorry for the scratch.
Clue -Lakshadweep.
For those who are of the "twitching" persuasion, there's a Spoonbill at Montrose Basin at the moment, plus Ruddy Shellducks and lots of other feathery things(some Salmon and Sea Troot spotted jumpimg about too).
