Really interesting Fred. I like that kind of video although not the waffle at the end :)

Indeed. For that reason only I did not give it a thumbs up. When he started about windfarms being "the future" I thought "politics" - shame it spoiled it a wee bit for me. :)
As an aside - is there fishing in the Glendevon Reservoirs?
They are both fisheries now with rainbows, they used to be browns only.
Glenquey is still broonies... fishes well when waters down a bit.
That drought year was really good there in the evenings.
Did the fish in Glendevon survive that drought?
By the way these lums sticking out of the water in Cluanie is not unusual. I've seen it twice in the 1980s and 1990s and I'm hardly ever even there.
My friend caught a large pike In castlehill, where video is, the year after, so I reckon some fish left.
Although glenquey was on it's bones there was still a decent depth of water in middle,I didn't see any fish kill through lack of oxygen.
Scottish water were a far bigger pest when they accidentally released many litres of fish killing acid into the Devon a few years ago. It's certainly recovered now, seems to be a lot of invertebrates etc over last few years.
