Taking inspiration from our most regular catches, some fly boxes have been made up.

Most of the fittings arrived yesterday, allowing final construction this morning.

The foam for the lining is out of stock at GAC but due soon. The finish is natural beeswax, but I am doing a trial on some varnished ones.
Clockwise from top left they are-
1) Pine and Oak
[attachimg=3]
2) Mahogany and Cherry

3) Mahogany and Pine

Bottom right is veneered, the top banded with Brazilian Rosewood and European Walnut

Whilst the base is the walnut in the burr form.

'til a voice as bad as conscience,
rang interminable changes,
on an everlasting whisper,
day and night repeated so-
"Something hidden, go and find it,
Go and look beyond the ranges,
Something lost beyond the ranges,
Lost and waiting for you,
Go."
