what hapend to the trout in loch of strathbeg

hi element they have added some blues and rainbows last two seasons. i was last on the loch two seasons back and my pal caught a rainbow and a blue trout that day i had two brown trout. the blues and rainbows were to be returned and two fish limit on the browns. as you say browns and rainbows both stocked, but i have on number of times caught fingerling brownies so at least the brown trout must spawn in the wee burn that runs into it so i suppose you could class them wild fish in a way. a wonder if the angling club members are allowed to kill the blue and rainbow and visitors are to return them. think the opposite would be better strange really. cheers andy m
