Be afraid, very afraid especially if you drive an HGV or a taxi. Jaywalking will become the norm, the kings will be pedestrians and cyclists, the Marxist BLM / Climate lunatic protesters will have a new licence do  exactly as they please and there will be sod all anyone can do abut it.

And all this wokeness is coming from a Conservative government. heaven help us!

"Mirror, signal, manoeuvre" could, and should, apply to cyclists same as everyone else on the roads. They are a nightmare over here just now.
Highland Plod is running Operation Close Pass, where they have a decoy cyclist catching out dafty motorists driving too close when passing. Fair enough, but the plod also have a mat marked mat on the road to demonstrate the safe distance when overtaking. They have never said to overtake in the other lane. Fair enough when cyclists go in a straight line, but many think they can erratically move about in the whole lane (rendering the close pass space impossible to comply with on our roads). Fugging cyclists.
It is only a matter orf time before a whole pile of them get squashed in a oner, and it will be their own fault.
