They say it's and ill wind but when I heard of its arrival  on the radio it reminded me of Pete and Dud.

Well  Dud turned out to be a dud in this area, windy but nothing out of the ordinary.

Could it  be we are turning into a bunch of softy, snowflake pansies?

We missed a lot of it too Fred. I think it tracked farther south than expected and caused havoc in the Netherlands instead.

Forecast for tomorrow is pretty dreadful Sandy. Heavy snow and high winds all day.

No sign of snow yet, but it is windy with torrential rain.

It's turning to wet snow here now. A day to stay at home I think.

We were due to go to Perth, I had though of going Grayling fishing, but casting can be a bugger in 40mph winds, seems many roads closed due to the snow, Perth, Dundee and Kirriemuir amongst some that are having hefty snow falls, high roads have snow gates closed.

According to the Arbroath pages on Fb the roads to the Angus towns are in pretty bad shape and Forfar is grinding to a halt.

Poor around Cumbernauld as well according to this STV report - luckily no one would want to go there anyway.
