Title: River Tyne Estuary enquiry
Post by: davidw1234 on March 28, 2009, 03:21:36 PM
I'm interested in fishing the Tyne estuary (E Lothian).  Any advice about how to approach this?  I'm quite new to fly fishing.  Presumably high tide is best.

Thanks

David

The ELAA has the fishing rights down to the John Muir Park

Always fancied trying Heckies Hole for sea trout. Have caught them in the pools at lower Tyningham which are tidal and brackish...nothing large but they do seem to come in
