Title: Fitting studs to wading boots
Post by: east wind on April 07, 2009, 10:32:45 PM
After nearly passing out on the Lanny Avon one hot day last Aug when wearing neos, i decided to get some breathables and move up yet another notch in the tackle parade (now a notch 2)

Tonight i was just about to screw the studs into the felt sole when i surmised there would be a right way and a wrong way to do this.

Any advice on where to put them would be appreciated, Ive got 16 per boot.

I imagine in the middle would be a bad idea.

Cheers,

EW

Have just put some studs on my boots and put 8 at the toe and 8 at the heel as I saw this as the best way to lay them out.  Not tried them out yet but hopefully be ok.
