I'm pretty sure admin & co will sort me out with this one, Whats the most  simple way to find old posts !Be it a report to a new bit of kit ! Even after all the years on this forum I still find it a nightmare to search down auld posts, the simple and easy way please !

I'm the same Colin :)

First you need to know what you are looking for and who posted about it. I find putting both into the search comes close. What does annoy me is when it gives you the search term when it is part of a word or even two words, the end of one and beginning of the other :)

Don't use the search at the top right. Use the one on the menu bar. It's much better.

Which one at the top right? The only one I've used is the menu one.

Right. You mean the one in the header that I keep switched off so I never see it :)

Very top right of the page beside the smf logo. It's useless
