Been looking all morning,cant find it .Was never that keen on John Bailey but did enjoy one or two of his books.This was probably because i used to fish in the places he used to write about,even if he did tell one or two porkies .Have seen the book for sale so will probably buy it again.

Reviving this thread for pretty much the same reason as before.
The book contains a photograph of the Tomdoun bar with a young Danny Alexander (The Ginger Rodent) in the background.
The closure of the hotel has come to the attention of a lady in Australia who worked at the hotel alongside Danny.
She got in touch with me and I promised her a copy of the photograph which Malcolm kindly sent me (see above).
Being a prat, I have since deleted it.
So may I ask again if anyone who has a copy of "Casting for Gold" by John Bailey to get in touch on this thread or via PM.
