Title: Bushcraft pop can stove
Post by: gasman on October 31, 2010, 07:54:37 PM
 I was looking at the DIY Camping Stove that was posted by Pearly Invicta.
Great idea, but it is limited to only burn wood, so i had a look on the net and found this

All the best,
Gary :)

The only reason I can see that your link didn't work is because 'kit/reviews' got deleted somehow  :dunno

 I have a Swedish Army Traniga Stove
[attachimg=1]
Which is a great bit of kit, the only draw back is it is over 3lb in weight.
A little bit on the heavy side for a day trip in the hills.
This is why I have made myself the Ikea Pop-Can Stove
[attachimg=2]
This stoves weight is grams not pounds.
It is made from a cutlery stand, two empty cans and a couple of old tent pegs.
I only need to get a billy can to fit inside the cutlery stand now.

All the best,
Gary :8)

 Thanks for that post Rabbitangler.
The stove that he has made is a Pressurized Jet Stove made for coke cans.
The stove that I have made is called an Open Jet Stove again made with two drinks cans, very easy to make.
