Aquariums & Fish Keeping / Re: Fish Tank One Of N

All this mighty complicated aquarium tanks business reminds me of my teenage dentist called Chong Kwang in Dunfermline. He had a big tank in the waiting room where the stars of the tank amongst the fishes were two little terrapins barely more than 2 inches long.

Tank 1, stage 1 complete. Installed, filled, checked for function and leaks, drained and dried.

Stage 2 begins tomorrow.

Funny enough I had a glass of Campbeltown loch tonight. It's not a bad whisky at all but I can see where you are coming from it doesn't stand out to me.

How long had the Arran 17 been open for could it be that air has killed it?

eSHa 2000 and eSHa Exit.

These are easily the best white spot and bacterial meds available to Joe Public. And they'll cover the most common ailments.

But as I alluded too in another post, keep the tank clean and you should avoid bacterial and fungal issues. :)

Which medications / treatments should a fish keeper always have ready at home?

A few from last night. The Willets bourbon was easily my favourite.

I've tried the blend Campbeltown Loch before at a Springbank tasting and thought it was good then. Though last night I was less impressed.

The cask strength Glendronach definitely needed a drop of water. It's a bit harsh bear.

The 17 year old Arran lacked complexity. I was pretty disappointed with that to be honest.

We ended up with a couple of bottle kills. And the Michters Rye remains unopened. Until next time.

Attractive, affordable, easy to keep and readily available. That's why they're a hobby staple.

If you like them then go for them. :)

Was thinking half a dozen bronze corys might be the best place to start. Seems they are more tolerant of the higher temps the Rams need. I also quite like them and they are easy to obtain.

What do you reckon?

It's amazing the bounty Storms Arwen brought to tank decorators in this area.  ;D  ;D
