Looking for an 11ft 5# for a friend.
Don't ask why as I couldn't understand his reason for wanting this, something about it being an all rounder for lochs.
He has looked all over the Internet for this with no joy.
Not a 4 or 6 got to be a 5.

Is there such a thing?  :D

Don't know.
Probably why he can't find one.

I am still an avid fans of longer rods for boat fishing for both brown and sea trout and have quite a few 11 foot rods but most are six or seven weights.
I do have a hardy Marksman Drifter which is a 11ft 5 weight but to be honest I have the same rod in a 6 weight and it is far superior in my opinion.
Other than the Hardy, I do not know of any other 11 ft 5 weights and they stopped producing these a good few years ago now.
I also have a Cadence 11 ft 6 weight which is superb and I feel is equal to the Hardy and is currently available through their website.

Some years ago I had an Enigma 11ft 5wt which I sold to Andy Roobarb who at the time was on the boats in South Uist. A very good rod for boat work. He liked it a lot !!

I still use an old Daiwa 11.25ft 5-7 for loch fishing from the boat.

Don't know if you can still get them.
