Working on the River Beauly this week, not many fish about, anyway, working with the lovely Sheila so thought i would post a picture of the original and famous round these parts "Sheila" fly tied by her husband Willie the ghillie.
The wing is made from black squirrel.

I don't have any squirrel with me just arctic fox hair so here is my variant...."The Foxy Sheila", it will be getting a swim this evening.

Nice subtle looking fly, sure that would work down here once the grilse have settled down, flies just now tend to be very glittery cascades or flamethrowers on the Esks.
