Picked up some tying materials after work today so will be at the vice tonight. Anyone used tungsten sheet? Not sure how to attach to the hook I thought it would be sticky backed like lead sheet  :?

I've used that tungsten sheet, one  problem with it is bulk. It would be fine for big flies.

Fred its size 12 jigs I'm tying as anchors. I actually quite like it, it's a strange material - stretchy and easy to break off. I've just been catching it in with thread couple of wraps behind bead, tie off and rip excess before tidying up. Will get a few photos of flies up in other thread.

I'd love to see your uses for this. Have had some for years but didn't like it, wasn't sure how to use it properly so it got thrown to one side while I used lead sheet.
