Title: Val Doonican
Post by: Inchlaggan on July 02, 2015, 06:04:38 PM
Maybe not to the taste of many on the forum, but the guy could sing.
For those of us of a certain age, he was a feature of our Saturday nights for nearly 21 years.
Still not cool enough for you?
He was a close friend of Sandy Denny.
That not do it?
OK then. He provided the Gaelic-inspired harmonies for one of Sandy's most famous recordings.
"The Battle for Evermore" by Led Zeppelin.
