Title: saltwater rods for sale swff, not the chuck-it-and-chance-it variety....
Post by: corsican dave on July 03, 2015, 12:36:45 PM
Well, that was an expensive coffee-break. I blame john Norris. Why did they have to reduce the hardy pro-axis saltwater rods by so much?
Anyway, if someone wants a cheap but reasonable quality swff rod, I've got two available

1 x scierra hmx 9'6 #8                         as new    £50
1 x greys grxi+ 9'6 #7 (but deals with an 8 easily)     lightly used        £40  (sorry Vaughan, but a shade on the soft side for me....!)
Or £80 the pair.... We can argue about postage/delivery!

As is now our customary practice with gear ..... I will trade it back again !!!! I should give this SWFF a try. :D :D :D

I am on the ferry going off Uig to Harris on Sat 25th and passing up by via the A9 as per usual. I will give you a phone during the week before to see if we could meet up then at the Cycle track layby or nearer to you at the Kingousie turn off, whichever suits.

Will do Dave. It is a decent enough rod to have around the Greys one. Will call in the days before the 25th.
