The day before the season ended I dropped an Orvis reel onto a rock and snapped off the end of one side of the reel foot.
I emailed Orvis's Service Dept and got an email back from the USA two hours later saying .. Yup we can send you a new reel foot and the two holding screws all in one little kit package. Next day I had a confirmation email with a modest price quoted for the order and I was to phone back with card details. When I phoned they said no problems we are glad to help and we have actually sent off all you need already in yesterday's mailings and there will be no charge. How good is that !! :D :D :D

Yes, great company Orvis. That's why I bought Orvs boots last week. If they fall to bits before they get old I'll get a replacement.
