Title: Hook Info
Post by: Highlander on October 08, 2015, 08:40:40 PM
Looking for medium gauge, long shank with fairly wide gape. Any pointers to which one fits the bill.

Could look at Kamasan B830 (Trout Classic Lure Long) the Irish like them for big bushy mayflies.
Kamasan also have an extra long B830 Streamer hook.
Their B405 is a standard wide gape and a longish shank.

Thanks Vaughan, there are one or two in that range that will fit the bill.

PS They are for artificial Daddies. I never did get the chance to fish them on S Uist due to the blustery winds but box is a bit low so winter project to top it up for next year.
