Don't know if this is any good or not, it's a gelert, maybe one of you has one? But at £1.99 it's a bit of a bargain, worst comes to worst I'll use it in my shed

Tried it tonight in the garage. Lights the whole place up very well indeed and seems to have a nice blend of lightness and decent build quality. Perfect for the tent. I'm hearing lots of good things about this wee company. Service was great with prompt delivery too.
Got to say I'd have been quite happy to use the bargain £1.99 job if I'd spotted it!
Like Alan I use my head torch. In saying that in forty years I haven't used it that often and the original one still has the same battery in it and the new one hasn't been out of the rucksack belt pocket in earnest yet :) In Scotland there always seems to be enough light to see what I ma doing and when it is too dark to see I am sleeping :8)
I use my headtorch -an Alpkit Manta ,in the tent too when camping light. If car camping I use something more substantial - can't remember what it is, but it is an LED job with lots of reflectors and was bought from Go Outdoors.
