Looks like a good fly to hang a nymph off and you are right, that was a good dubbing tip - one I hadn't heard of.

aye, why make things complicated? those reservoir fishers have a vested interest in making things look difficult  :wink: any self-respecting fish would nail that fly, especially with the legs. it'll be coming with me to spain this year, for sure
