Title: Minn Kota outboard spares
Post by: silverbutcher on April 04, 2015, 06:17:42 PM
Does anyone know where I can get new brushes for A Minn Kota electric outboard.
I thought I had cracked it with a a Scottish company, the owner told he has them and will send them to me, but despite 2 phone calls and 3 E-mails to him over the last fortnight, I am no further forward.

I can order them from the states after Easter, but I was hoping to have them this week, so I am looking for somewhere within a couple of days postage.

Thanks Garry,
That's who I've been trying to get them from. I think he's busy with bigger jobs and a couple of brushes worth a tenner aren't the top of his priority list.

Well, after trying for three weeks to get these from UK, I gave up and ordered them from http://www.mikesreelrepair.com/ (http://www.mikesreelrepair.com/) in Canada.

I registered and ordered at 4:46pm tonight and received an e-mail at 5:42pm confirming that the bushes had been posted. The pair of bushes plus postage came to $17.90 or around 12 quid. Now that's service.
