Customising.

How have people customized their kit/rod's etc? Painted rod's? Rod Ruler's? Even nifty home made tools?

My mate wood varnished the handle of his sage rod  :shock:

I've used it a fair bit and it didn't seem to have much effect to the feel, think he did it to protect the cork but don't think I would have been so brave with a £500+ rod!!
