I reckon It would take a seven weight spey or switch line and plenty of backing no bother at all Andy. It weighs in at 7.4 ounces. My daughter works over at Clydebank and sometimes Dumbarton. nice large handle too. one of the (few) issues with the danielsson is that the handle's a bit on the titchy side. also pleased to hear it's got zero play. that's something i don't like about my vision big daddy. just not quite on it like the hardys or the guideline quadra. sounds like you've got a good 'un there
