Title: Who's your daddy!
Post by: Lochan_load on December 29, 2014, 11:38:40 AM
Been thinking about this again and came up with an idea, straight hook instead of the gaff of making the detached body, tried the rubber legs as suggested, still knotted to give drag rather than look like knee joints.
Viewed side on it's a really ugly looking dogs dinner....

I do a detached body Daddy on a #18 hook :) The hook is under the thorax and the body is basically a long tail.

I did one with a 16 that way recently sandy, this ones a 6! Just playing about really to see what I can come up with, I'm gonna get some 10 long shanks soon to do muddlers so that'll be my next try,  half and half body/detached body, sure the permutations will all work about the same but it's keeping me busy! Only 75 days to go  :(
