Title: Ants on Acid
Post by: Wildfisher on January 30, 2015, 08:51:39 PM
Another great tying here from Kelly Galloup along with some useful tying tips.

Must knock up a few of those.

Have you ever tried the gel spun thread he's taking about? A wee bit extra strength would be handy when using deer hair sometimes, uni 8/0 can snap sometimes and find the 6/0 too thick

I've used Moser "Power Silk". That will slice your fingers off if you try to break it. It's very slippery stuff.

Ooft sounds dangerous, I'll take my chances with the odd snap off 😜

Quotegel spun thread
QuoteMoser "Power Silk".

Personally I leave this type of stuff alone. Like Fred says it would take the hand off you. Really slippy which like any nylon "normal" threads I avoid using where possible.
