If you have a drone what is the max. wind speed you can fly in?
My DJI Air2 S is supposed to be OK up to 30MPH but I've never tried it. Obviously the heavier the drone the better it should be. I think my AIR2 S is about 570g, well above the 249 g of the "mini" series
Scotland is a windy place, so this is probably more relevant here
When we were applying herbicides we had strict wind speed limits and used little handheld speed anemometers. Very marked the difference between head high and knee high.
More variable is gustiness which could be quite marked once you are up a few hundred feet. Is the limit the average or the gusts or is it just a "limit"?
Do you notice gusts in the footage you are editing?

I tend not to fly when it's windy Vaughan so I'm interested in other's experience.
You make a good point about height - the higher you go the windier it gets. Apparently a lot of drone pilots get caught out with this. I'm such a coward I tend not to fly unless it's calm. ;D
I've flown my MA2 at 400 feet in a (ground level) wind speed of 27mph.
Steady as a rock :)
Obviously, I flew it into the wind, so the drone didn't have to fight it on the way home.
