How do you cloak your's,just looking for different variation's when tying in the mallard wing :) thanks lads

Well funnily enough I was looking for an answer to this same question and I ended up just sort of imagining how the fly would be tied and just did it.

But (and I hate to have to link to "the other forum"!)  this thread is the dogs for tying dabblers - it's got photies and everythin'! :lol:  :lol:   And I've used the method and it works!   Check it out.

I was down fishing Lough Conn at the weekend and i had 5 to the Claret Dabbler tied the way Dave Downie demonstrated ,i added an under wing of mosaic tinsel 4 strands ,I also had fish on a Bibio variant with JC cheeks.
