Jungle cock supplier?

Just looking for anyone's experience from buying jungle cock, decent suppliers etc particularly interested if anyone's got good quality at a decent price. Last time round I bought from eBay and although the cape was not bad the colour was very pale, an expensive learning curve!

Afraid not, ones I have got were bought more than 30 years ago. Whilst there are few usable smaller nails left they should still last my lifetime. I bought them from a breeder similar to the link I have posted all that time ago. Having said that I have heard this company touted as giving good examples

I buy mines from Lathkill.  Keep an eye on stocks as they get news ones in and sometimes you get a cracking bargin. Last one I bought was £42 and it didn't have a split eye and plenty for salmon, sea trout and trout flies.

Cheers guys, lathkill and bransford were the suppliers that looked the best, I got a good cape from cliff Harvey a couple of years ago but they seem to have stopped doing them. Vaughan my pal uses the artificial jc for some of his tying and likes it but I'm not too convinced (I'm a bloody snob at heart )
