theres loads of good vests in that price range.I would tell you to look on ebay though instead of buying one at full uk retail price. Some of the fishpond ones are not be messed with and you will get one to fulfill whatever needs you have. Whether it be river, loch, hill lochs, burns ect. They are all designed to suit specific fishing.Buy it from States tho or it will be double your budget.Other ones i would consider are orvis, greys and patagonia. It depends how much of designer junkie you are lol.I bought a patagonia one which is a mesh design, fits over a waterproof wading jacket, drys quickly and is comfy, has good pockets and is lightweight. Some cotton ones if wet can weigh three tonnes and take days to dry.i would consider, weight, material and design when buying a vest.

ive got to admit im bad when it comes to gear and spend silly amounts of money on fly fishing stuff that i like the look off.Any of the cheap 15 pound ones will do the job just as good but it all comes down to what you like.I dont drink much so thats my excuse.

Its like buying a car.A escort will get you from  a to b but a bmw will get you there faster and in more style lol   Any my clio seals are leaking just now not sure they do on BM's.

Thanks guys for the tips.  I think I will probably buy from the States, either an Orvis or Patagonia.  Been checking a few websites and they're a lot cheaper over there.

when geting something sent from the states always ask if they can mark it as gift.I buy lots of stuff from ebay from the states and most ppl do it but just specify to make sure. This will save you the hassle that swithun had.

cheers.
