Bird ID from fresh picked remains?
« on: September 04, 2017, 09:59:54 AM »
Came across this on the hill on the waters edge the other day, freshly picked clean and curious to know that type of bird it is.  For context this hill has a LOT of buzzards and also game birds as well as various gulls and geese.  I'm no twitcher so no clue.

Anyone knowledgeable able to enlighten me?
Cheers.

Well there is a French Partridge feather on the right hand edge of the second photo!
