One particular problem I have had with Hardy/Greys warranties is the difference in the cost of the "administration/handling" fee. Despite the fact that you are getting the same service (from the same company) on your broken rod part you have to pay more if your rod is a Hardy, rather than Greys.

It used to be ?40 or so for a Hardy a couple of years ago. Is that still the case?
