Guys,

What's the difference between red and green mucilin. Not able to find an answer. I use the green as a floatant.

Cheers

The green has silicone added which I believe is bad  for silk lines. I use the green stuff  to grease up  the last few feet of floating lines and leaders   - as a matter of course - at the start of all my river fishing sessions.

I use the green on dry flies, furled leaders and the end of the fly line when it starts sinking.

I use the red to float everything when needed and on the dry fly all the time. I used the green once but it didn't seem to work as well as the red.

YMMV
Don't worry, be happy.

Carried it in full, then carry it out empty.
