A work colleague of mine has given me one of these rods and i'm trying to find out a little about it since there appears to be nothing online aside from a couple of out-of-date Ebay auctions.

Does anyone have any experience of this fly rod, or have owned one - maybe still owns and uses one? It is two-piece, has quite a stiff tip action, and appears unused (still has the clear plastic wrapping on the cork handle and looks totally unflawed).

I was hoping to be able to use it up in Assynt/Sutherland next month for Pollack, and I also assume it could be employed as a salmon rod, albeit it doesn't have a fighting butt (and I can't afford salmon fishing anyway at the moment!). Having said this, I would need to get a reel and line to match it and may not be able to do that before the trip date.

All information gratefully received.

Thanks, Les :)
